Trivia
According to the Secrets Revealer, the game was most likely going to take place in 1967 due to its teaser showcasing its title being revealed when typing those previously mentioned numbers. This would have made it the earliest game within the Remastered series chronologically.
Despite all of the other games within the Remastered series planning on being direct remakes of the original four games within Volume 1, this game was most likely not intended to be a direct remake of the original game due to the year the game was most likely planned to take place in, as well as it's usage of the CustomTOR font which was utilized within the original version of The Return to Freddy's 5 (originally known as The Return to Freddy's Remastered).
Despite it being chronologically and numerically the first game within the Remastered series, it was intended to release after the release of The Return to Freddy's 2 Remastered and The Return to Freddy's 3 Remastered.
This game as well as the entire Remastered series was briefly cancelled for a time in late 2021 prior to the series' final cancellation in October 2022. It was eventually announced to be coming back along with the rest of the games within the Remastered series on December 1st, 2021 (although it was put on indefinite hiatus).
In early 2022, Collin announced that he may only be making the remaster of the second game however, although if the others were successful and enjoyable to develop enough within Collin's eyes, he would begin development of the other games within the Remastered series.
