if this is slightly less horific how bad was it originally?!!! LOLOL Good game tho, only thing i would do is balance some characters better. but its fun soo

An old project I made in Game Maker some years ago, salvaged and made slightly less horrific.
Bullet Purgatory is a strange yet fun mix between a bullet hell and a fighting game where things can get so crazy that button massing can be a viable tactic, featuring 18 bizarre characters, each one with their own bullet hell attacks.
Controls:
Arrow keys : move character
Z : main attack 1
X : main attack 2
C : cheat attack
Space : special attack
Esc : close game
P : pause game
