just played through the current demo of the game and i have to say that it has a lot of potential and great points already!) the sprites look gorgeous, the whole game flows greatly and without any freezes or lags, the combat is a bit tricky but also simple enough to have fun with it, and, overall, the demo gives off a good first impression of what the game will be!)
but, alas, there are some problems with the game right now that i'll list off - firstly, the intro could've been a lot faster - you should make the fade-in and fade-out transitions between the screens a lot quicker - same with the menu, it's kind of annoying how long you have to wait so long just to see that the options aren't even in the game at the moment, jajaja!) and, secondly, the roll doesn't have any invincibility frames and is just basically a worse version of a sprint - i think that if you made it so that if the players hold the roll button they would spin continuosly instead of having the need to press Z every time you need to roll would be a great addition) other than that, i have no problems with the demo as of now!
all in all, the game is pretty solid in its current state - the demo gives hope and sets some good expectations for the future of the project and is, overall, pretty nicely done!) i especially loved the graphical part of the game - everything is brimming with colors and stylistic simplicity which i just adore!)
