Embark on the journey of Jenny Ink Emerson, an office worker spending her summer at her mother's workplace. A twist of fate transports her to the enigmatic dimension of the offices, and now, she must find a way to escape.

As you navigate through this shadowy realm, you'll encounter a diverse cast of characters on your quest homeward. Prepare to confront not only bosses and monsters but also unexpected adversaries—perhaps even friends? Your path through this dark world is fraught with challenges, but fear not; Rick, your guiding light, is there to assist you.

However, beware, for there's more to this world than initially meets the eye. Explore diligently, and you may uncover secrets beyond your wildest imagination.

The Dark takes traditional horror tropes, such as shadow monsters and the looming threat of great evil darkness, and elevates them to a whole new level of uniqueness.

MEET THE TEAM

ducky is the programmer, pixel artist, and story writer.

Ducky is a pretty simple person, only wanting to tell a dark story, and changing your life more ways than one.

[[THE ACE]] The ace uses his vast knowledge from many video essays to give feedback and perfect the game in general. He may also work on many aspects of the game such as programming, art, and HOPEFULLY I PLEAD YOU DUCKY PLEASE marketting!!!

Ashley is the talented musical artist who was kind enough to make the music for my game! I couldn't be happier meeting her. And I’m thankful she’s helping me on my journey to achieve my goal and make a good story.

HOW THE GAME WILL COME OUT:

I want to make one version of the game, and that will be polished, very long, and very good. I refuse to make a poorly made game, which i am good at, considering I am lazy. Too lazy. I am always looking to cut corners which I refuse to do for the dark.

this game, may take years to make, it may takes months.

either way, I Will not publish this game on game jolt nor steam unless I believe its as good as possible.

I doubt it will be as popular as I imagine, but if I have a small fan base, its the best thing I could ever ask for, and I am thankful for that.
