The game is ridiculously dark. While my laptop may not have the brightest display out there, the game is fulfilled with loads of areas that are almost pitch black. The opening segment, the office, the mask, the cameras, everything. Darker doesn't equal scarier.
No one has ever remade trtf 1 in the trtf:r style, I am glad I get to see a trtf fan game in this style good luck with future endeavors

Mike Schmidt is a troubled man, haunted by the mistake he had made back in 1985. This mistake had haunted him for two years, until he made a choice.
He is going to confront that mistake.
The Return to Freddys - A Troubled Past is a 2015 styled Game inspired by the original TRTF R versions of The Return to Freddy's 5. Trying to make a mix of an accurate and reimagining game, the goal is to make a sit-and-survive game with the hybrids, while having the original story of TRTF 1. A lot of heart went into this game.

After some complaints about models and lighting, I'm gonna remake the visuals, using some trtf 2 models I made
There was a scrapped plot-point where Vincent was a loan shark.
Should I make an android port?

The game has been released! It didn't come out the best it could've, but hopefully you all like it! Please give some feedback.

Do you guys care for minigames? I'm not bothered by removing them. If anything, this game feels more like Mike's Story rather than connecting to the larger TRTF story.
If you ever want to play video files in your game, NEVER USE CLICKTEAM. I had to make an installer. I'm sorry.
