I expect this to be the final boss
man this was an awesome demo. jason is the man - love the guy.
installed and booted up the demo - so far, so good! I like the artstyle of the game and the little-bit grounded story, although, i haven't played the first game in the series, but still - the plot is pretty engaging!) the sprites looks awesome - especially the battle sprites for the main characters.
unfortunately, while playing i've run into a bug that happens quite often with games made using RPG Maker MV - while in the first battle with the two spiders i've run into a bug where after the spider's attack the game froze with the following error on the screen "Loading Error - Failed to load: img/animations/Howl.png", which is, as i've said already, a pretty common bug for games on RPG Maker MV(
Shader1019, i hope that you'll fix this bug - as i know this can be fixed by manually implementing missing animations back in the game (and not only animations but also sounds if the bug prevails with them too) - once you'll release the fixed demo i'll definitely leave a review for it!) take care!
SPOILER TW:
Hey, dude. I just started playing this game and sadly got softlocked (I couldn´t move at all) right upon entering the settlement in the Limbo segment
Still tho, this can be easily fixed and besides that, I´ve gotta say that the improvement and love you´re putting into this is surreal! I´m having a lot of fun with the characters here, one thing I didn´t really like was the fact that the XP doesn´t seem to be recieved to the party members that are not participating, and i´m someone who likes to vary a lot when it comes to multiple character management . Wonder if you could make it so they recieve half of the XP to make it kinda fair
But that´s really all, everything else looked fine to me, hope you´re doing fine with the development and in general ofc, hyped to see more from you!
You are Miles Scott. 19 Years Old. You lived a crazy life, but you finally got everything the way you want it to be. A normal life. Even though you are the host of a dark spirit, you've kept it suppressed and made your life work.
But that peace is short lived as your love interest goes missing. You and your best friend find a lead to her whereabouts and begin searching for her.
However, as you search, you now deal with a new threat that isn't human. And they want to use you, and those you care about, to rule over all of humanity. Your search leads to straight into the 9 Circles of Hell.
Having gone too far to turn back, you must choose what morals you're willing to stick to. Will you be able to let go of the darkness held within you? Or will you fully embrace it in the end?

Unjust Descent is a game made with RPG Maker MV with custom sprites and graphics based on how RPG Maker looked on the Nintendo 3DS.
The theme was largely inspired by Dante's Inferno.
The story is choice based. You build Miles' morals and personality as you play, and it persists across the story. These choices will ultimately decide the path Miles will choose and will influence the ending of the story.
This game is a sequel to both Renegade Retry and Estranged Escape.
Gameplay features include:
RPG style gameplay
Turn based combat
Occasional Puzzles
Occasional QTEs
Choice based personality dialogue choices
Morality system based on certain choices
Branching paths (starts showing in Phase 2)
Multiple Endings (not yet implemented)
Game is currently early access and does not have an ending yet. Different builds are being periodically made public to get a feel for what the game will be like.

Current Build (v.0.6.0): Phase one is fully completed and phase 2 ix playable up to a certain point. Note that somethings may be unpolished or not fully complete.
If you encounter any bugs/glitches while you play, DM me about it, and I'll patch it as soon as I'm able to.
