What do you think?

played the game a bit (got around to finish operation "Cure") and i have to say that it's pretty good! an RPG in a modern setting with a conspiracy plot where you play against the government - what more could you wish for? the plot is engaging and interesting, the day-to-day mechanics are well-done, the music choice is great, the game performs very well (i haven't found a single bug in all of my playtime!), and the post-soviet atmosphere represented in the game is awesome!) good job, AdranGames!

there's lots of little, but, nevertheless, great details in the game that make playing it all the more enjoyable - the jazzy music in the menu is a joy to listen to, the way that menu randomly changes between a black-and-white theme, a Vlajkystan-themed one or a grey one with buildings is also cool! the intro showing off some retro photos while getting some basic knowledge about Vlajkystan to the player is great and helps a newcoming player understand all the more about the game!) also, the game's icon being the flag of Vlajkystan is a good choice, too) the battle themes also sound great - especially Chiryo's - kinda reminds me of some touhou music) i also found very helpful the fact that the game gives the player a little explanation and a hint of what to do next after mission Traffic Lights - helps to keep the player on their toes all the time. the lighting system used in the hospital sewers is great and helps build up some immersion and atmosphere for the game!) and, finally, the enemy designs look great - especially Chiryo's!) despite her being an antagonist i can't help but love the way she looks - simply awesome design.

but, with all that said, there are some (albeit pretty small) problems with the game - firstly, the female postman delivering a message from BH says "Glory Vlajkystan!" - you should replace it with "Glory to Vlajkystan!") the music missing in some parts of the game is a small downside for me - it could enhance the experience from the game if used correctly, like when BH explains his plan about how to overthrow Vlahkystan's government) next, i think it would be great if the recipe book told you what resources you needed if you didn't have enough resources to craft one thing or another. and, lastly, Chiryo's field sprite differs somewhat from her battle sprite - mainly her hair color is a lot more blonde-ish in the field sprite, but that's just nitpicking from me, jajajajaja

all in all, this was a pretty unique and an enjoyable experience!) Odstin is a breath of fresh air with its modern-day plot, cospiracy setting and overall theme from all the generic RPG's, and it does a great job at putting you in the shoes of a secret anti-goverment agent!) AdranGames, you did a good job and i wish you only best of luck and nerves of steel in your future endeavors!) take care!

Odstin is a game that takes place in a fictional country called Vlajkystan.

You play as a newly moved-in citizen who is fully committed to starting his career in the new state.

But one letter from a stranger changes everything...
