VioletTale is a sequel to the original Undertale, where you play as the 10th fallen human. In this new future underground, most of the monsters you knew from the original game are dead and have been replaced by their descendants.

-------------------------------FUTURE MONSTERS--------------------------------

Aclonica - A lazy skeleton who likes mustard. He spends most of his time watching anime. He doesn't have an official fight. He is the descendant of Sans.

Arial - A tall skeleton who likes sushi, and dreams of one day joining the royal guard. He uses the blanket he had since he was a baby as a scarf. He is the descendant of Papyrus

Unfaire - A strong fish monster who leads the royal guard and likes anime. She has a giant anime mecha suit. She is the descendant of Undyne.

Mettaton NEO-X - A box-like robot based on the original Mettaton, with new features. He wears sunglasses and hosts an anime fight show every Friday. He was built based on Mettaton.

Toriel III - A goat monster who rules the underground. She is collecting human souls in jars to escape the underground again, after the 9th human sealed the monsters in the underground again. She is the descendant of Toriel.

Asgore III - A goat monster who currently lives in the ruins, and bakes birthday cakes for everyone, even if it's not their birthday. He is the descendant of Asgore.

Flowey - A clone of the original Flowey from Undertale. He steals Toriel's SOUL-powered mecha suit and fights the human with it.

-------------------------------RETURNING MONSTERS----------------------------

Sans - He is encountered at the end of the genocide route as an AI in the last corridor. He has 2 phases, and after he is defeated, Papyrus steps in to fight.

Papyrus - He is fought after the player defeats Sans in the last corridor, after Sans's dying wish, which was for the player to be destroyed, and his brother to come back.

Undyne - Undyne is fought during the genocide route. The character OHKOs Unfaire, but Undyne steps up and begins the true battle. She only appears as Undyne the Undying, but as a skeleton. Undyne is passing down here techniques to Unfaire.

Alphys - Alphys is still Alphys, she is still alive, and she is doing Alphys things. She ships DT from her DT generator to Unfaire's house, and improves on her comically-large shotgun during her free-time.
