Within The Maze is a open world, multiplayer survival game with a twist. It's set in a post apocalyptic maze. This means don't get lost.
You might now think: "Well, what is there to do in the game except loot and kill people?" Well, you will be able to get quests from certain npc's. These quests will all be unique and no quests will be the same due to the multiplayer aspect. You never know who is gonna be at the quest location. Will it be a player? Will it be bandit npc's or will there be nothing?
Well you got your loot and guns and you want a place to store it. What do you do? You build a base! You will be able to find abandoned building and claim them for yourself. You will be able to add doors, board up windows and furnish the home to your liking. But be careful. You might need to claim the building from npc bandits or even players. So now you got your loot, your guns and your home what stops you from causing havoc and killing everyone? To stop this problem that so many other games have where you've reached the endgame and you have nothing to do except killing people we are planning on adding a reputation system.
This will be based on who you kill, who you help and complete quests for. The reputation will affect you in the way where merchants and shop keeps will charge more money and you will recive less when selling. They might even refuse to trade with you. But you can still visit bandit outposts and sell your gear there. But be carefull bandits are still bandits.
The way we plan on implementing this feature is by adding armbands that change colour depending on your reputation. These will be persistant and you will not be able to remove them.
