In fact, as long as you properly credit the Freedoom team (look up their licensing terms), you can even redistribute the WAD yourself with Xeno Effect.
Hi, just so you know - you do not actually need the Doom 2 wad. There's a free fully compatible replacement for it called Freedoom. Freedoom Phase 1 replaces Doom 1, Freedoom Phase 2 replaces Doom 2.
