This novel is one of the best fan-made stories I have ever seen. Immediately you are greeted with these amazingly well-made and charming characters with thought-provoking morals and excellent personalities, an interesting storyline, and a cool premise with the Yakuzins and the Kenbumajins. I hope that we could see more of these characters' adventures soon!

In the year 2004, life is pretty normal for 13 year old Ren Zhang. She helps her parents at the local history museum, plays Newnimals (the hottest online pet rasing and battling game!) daily, things seem almost a bit too normal. As these stories go, everything changes when she encounters a boy around her age named Hiyu Rao, and she finds herself wielding the Yokai Watch Devaraja to defend the human and yokai worlds from nightmare-ish ideals to protect the precious dreams of those who have them with the help of the Kenbumajin.
