While an interesting concept, the execution was mediocre. The colours were much too glaring; it became very painful to look at after 2 or 3 levels. The lore was just plain cringy, even for what I assume to be a joke. The "philosophical" text, while interesting and somewhat amusing at first, got old very quickly.
The gameplay itself is enjoyable. It's a great concept that was executed fairly well. Although Jimthan's hitbox is a little strange, it made for a more challenging, but not impossible, game based around timing.
Until I got to that one level that was all black. No reset button and the threat of having to start completely over for a level that would probably take an absurd amount of time to complete made me completely check out.
Another frustrating aspect of the game is how close together and similar the "Reset" and "Return" buttons are in quite a few levels. It's much too easy to mistake one for the other and have to start completely over for a game that has no checkpoints or save files.
All in all, the concept and gameplay were interesting and almost well done. It just seems as if you're trying too hard to make the game "unique" and it falls flat.
I apologize if this seems harsh, but this concept was way too good, but disappointingly done, to not comment on.
Best of luck.
