What do you think?

You should sell the full version on Game Jolt as well :)

i love drifting but the car itself had too much power and slow turn time, amazing game tho! i cant wait to see this at its full potential :)

I liked the game, but it's extremely hard to control! I love drifting in games, but if the car is too good at drifting, then I don't like it. So some things that should be added are different cars with different drifting skills.

Horrible game, Drift mechanics aren't even close to anything drift related that's actually fun, The car spins out if you try to counter steer, E brake only makes the car slide in place into walls, Debris from the blocks you hit earlier makes your car flip and makes perfect drift sequences nearly impossible, I liked the idea but I hated the result, I've played similar drift games before and while this may be fun for a serious "Drifter" I will not be playing this game again.

Nice idea, nice design, worst car control ive ever seen... i cant drive straight without spinning out of control 3 times

NOTE: THIS IS AN EARLY ALPHA VERSION AND IS NOT INDICATIVE OF THE FINAL GAME.

The full game is available on Steam here:

Absolute Drift is a car drifting game. The core mechanic is drifting, which is the driving style of intentionally over-steering so that the car loses traction and starts sliding. The goal is to remain in this state as long as possible, but it takes skill and practice to become a master.

This demo is a chance to get feedback from players and to see which direction the game can potentially take. Do you like the Drifting Tracks or the Freestyle Tracks more? Are the controls too hard/easy?

Included in this demo:

  • Tutorial level, displayed when first loading up the game.

  • 3 Freestyle levels, where the goal is to get the max points in 2 minutes.

  • 2 Track Levels, where the goal is to get max points within 3 laps.

Check out the Replay System- watch a video of yourself at the end of each level with rewinding, fast forward and slow motion. (Changing cameras has not been implemented for the demo).

Please leave a comment if something is not working properly. Especially on less powerful machines some colors are not displaying correctly. Also any feedback would be appreciated!
