Kinda like reverse superhot with parkour. Really cool!
I really like this game and finished it a thousand times and still liked it! I even finished once in 2 min and the other one was in 1 min!Great job with what you have done that is playable so far.
PS:I can't wait for prototype 4!
You can find second prototype here: http://www.indiedb.com/games/haste-time-bending-action
And congratulations with completion of Proto3! :D
I am eager to play to the prototype 4 !
Hi Eugene
I'd like to leave a longer comment with remarks and questions. I'll use this account, because I think players who like our race mode will enjoy your game, and vice versa.
Cheers, bonifarz
So, I've discovered Haste just a few days ago, and I'm damn late with my comments, since proto 3 dates back to dez 2014. But anyway, I had lots of fun with this one, so I'll write down a few lines.
First of all, I guess proto 4 will be ready soon^TM, so I wonder if you have a link to your older demos. It would be a shame if the content of proto3 would become inaccessible once a new demo with completely different game-play is out. Or will the next update rather be an expansion?
I enjoyed to explore proto 3, which combines some tough trial and error with a slow pace and calmness, which contrasts nicely with the vast destruction of the environment. It's fun to discover shortcuts, secrets and tricks, and it was pretty hard to get on the top 10 leader board (just got there today).
That brings me to the next question: I see the top times are around and even below 2:10. (one point per ms). Can you confirm that these top times are reproducible, e.g. without hacks? I guess there's just another glitch i missed for some major shortcut :)
Related question: I figured out bounce jumps and wall jumps are two techniques that open up some weirder shortcuts, and I'm not sure if those mechanics are intended. Will you keep these in place?
Looking forward to your next public release.

When you run, world slows down, making you essentially a super hero.
It's called HASTE because the first demo was created in 4 hours and the only chance for player to survive was to run constantly.
Be prepared to lose often - this game pushes your skills to the limits.
Controls are simple:
WASD + spacebar + mouse to move and look.
Spacebar in mid-air to perform a landing roll.
Shift to walk.
R - to restart level.
To achieve higher score you should run faster and search for secrets.

I've just uninstalled Cyberpunk2077 after playing over 192 hours and returned to HASTE x_X
Gotta release this prototype soon and continue working on our Road Rash-like racing game.

I revisited the very first level created after Proto3 and tweaked all the rooms to some degree. The level now flows almost perfectly. It's not like HASTE is in active development right now, but not dead or forgotten either.
