I'm not the roguelike type, still I can see some room for improvement here. The graphics look cool, as does the music. Perhaps some more focus on when the enemy or you are hit, with some kind of a "bang" thing or something. Don't make that too big, just enough to get the message through. Perhaps when you die it might be a good thing if you see the player lying on the ground before the game pops to the "game over" screen.
I think you're well on the way to turn this into something good for all the fans of the rogue-like genre.

This seems like the cross between terraria and magicite with different music and weird jumping.

"Adventure!" is a rogue-like game that is losely based off "Magicite". I am planning on releasing the alpha for free.
For v0.3 I have implemented a completely new inventory system... However v0.3 can not be played at the moment because of bugs and glitches plus further versions might not be uploaded either.
For v0.2 I have added/changed:
- Enemies now have 20 - 23 health

OMG it is here! v0.1 is ready and after so many tweaks I have made combat some what "fun". For the v0.1 update I have added:
- Two levels 
- Pumpkin enemy 
- Two swords and two pickaxes 
- Inventory system 
- Basic Character 
- Two music tracks 
- Basic tile set 
- Pickups 
- Some sounds 
- Doors 'n' stuff 
So... basically update v0.0.4 is v0.1 but I don't feel that the game is ready to be played. In the v0.0.4 update I have added:
- New level 
- Better combat (now it looks like you are accually doing damage... kinda) 
- Doors and... stuff 
In the v0.0.3 update I have added:

- Pumpkins have random health from 10 - 13 
- The Basic Sword does +2 dmg 
- The Common Sword does +4 dmg

- The player by default does +3 dmg (2+3=5 :O) 
In the v0.0.2 update I have added:
- Two classes of weapons, 'Basic' and 'Common' 
- I have added 2 pickaxes and 2 swords 
- I have improved the ai for the Pumpkins 
- I have uploaded screen shots for the game! 
In the v0.0.1 update I have added:

Version 0.2 will be avaliable ONLY for PC because I don't now have the time or effort to optimise/bug fix things for MAC. However there may also be an avaliable browser version. As always pls rate fairly (g8 m8 would r8 8/8 but I'm l8 for a d8 so pls w8!) and follow for news and further updates on the games development.
