Amazing FTL inspired core game loop that works perfectly in infinite style. Very fun and addicting despite being much simpler than the whole of FTL, I really hope you get a chance to expand on it!
I had a lot of fun playing this game during 30 lvls! Great job!
That was cool, a great hommage to FTL! 🙂
This game is a tribute to Faster Than Light in an infinite style with roguelike elements. It was made in two weeks for the OperaGXJam.
A notable difference with FTL is that between each encounter you choose a reward between 3 different items, Ã la Slay The Spire.
We hope you have fun playing A Leaf In Space and don't forget to send us some feedback!
About the Opera Game Jam
The theme of the game jam was "UFO" and the goal was for the game to be run when you don't have internet on Opera GX browser. The requirements were for the game to be under 5 Mb (A Leaf In Space is just below at 4.75 Mb uncompressed) and being designed to be multi-player. A Leaf In Space can be played by two people cooperatively: one player controls the mouse, the second player controls the keyboard.

Sometimes the AI is having a bit of a meltdown, running around their ship instead of repairing it.
