This is rather interesting. Starting out with a girl who wants to travel the world, to something much darker. I honestly didn't expect for such a thing to happen. One day you're cleaning an office, and the next day something big happens. The sudden turn of events kept me glued to the game. I was so into the game, until I realized that I had reached the end. I know that this is a prototype for a bigger project as you said earlier, but I wanted more. And I definitely mean that in a good way. I look forward to seeing the entire project! Keep working hard! :D
I made an unexpected trip out of town a few days ago and i just got back. And im mad i missed this the day it was featured. Great twist in it. And i absolutley love the pixelated style. I cant sing the praise of this demo enough. Excellent work. I am excessively happy i made a lets play of this game too. It translates very well into good recordable material. Feel free to check it out! Thanks again for the awesome game!!!
omg i loved it. i need more, for god's sake

But why did you kill off Jerome?
R.I.P Jerome
This is a really good game! I really like it, is has a good story and backround! You should definitely make like a sequel or something
Ananke is participating in the #gjfest, yeah!
Ananke is an adventure and exploration game set in the premises of a strange company.
Who are you? Why have you been sent to work there? And what is Exafan Consulting exactly doing?
Explore the company, talk the employees, find out what's going on... But try to be discrete or else snooping around could lead to dramatic consequences.
Ananke is an innovative narrative experience built around a first-person pixel art engine.
Ananke started as an entry for the #adventurejam 2015. Sadly, life and other issues got in the way and it couldn't be finished in time.
After a bit more work, the game is now in a playable state and corresponds more or less to what I had in mind for the jam, that is a narrative experience and a prototype for something bigger. It has bugs, gameplay flaws and narrative issues but I still hope you'll enjoy the unique feel.
The game is quite self explanatory (and the discovery of the game is part of itself) so just try it and see what you can do with it. I hope you enjoy!
