Kudos for doing this in such a short amount of time.
A bit of feedback for you regarding the gameplay:
When retracing your steps, pits that weren't previously there appear, making it purely a game of chance.
The music and sounds failed to play.
Dying from dehydration seems to occur even if you collect and consume plenty of water and food.
I loved the all-text format, and would love to see you expand on this some more.
Good first steps.
Apollo
Apollo is a game made by a single person in only 12 and a half hours.
It is a super-hard text-based sci-fi game where the ultimate goal is survival and escape.
You have crash-landed on an unknown planet, and you must find the pieces of your ship and make emergency repairs before time runs out and a meteor shower destroys the planet. If you can survive that long.
You have extremely limited food and water supplies, and you must rely on what you find on the planet to be able to survive long enough to find the remnants of your ship and piece it back together.
Controls: Type commands to perform actions in-game, use arrow keys to control the main menu. You can also press F11 to switch fullscreen, F5 to restart and Esc to quit.
The sequel to this game, Apollo 2: Journey Home is out now! Take a look at gamejolt.com/games/apollo-2/399303
