This week's theme was "Trying." I wanted to overload the player's brain as to what they should be doing at any given time. Thus, changing the rules became the primary mechanic. This prototype unfortunately doesn't explore it as far as I would have liked but I think it's pretty interesting to say the least. I found quickly that a default item needed to be available that always benefited the player. In that way, if they are overwhelmed, or simply have no positive rules, they can still go for these items. This ended up being the rainbow colored orbs that always net you 10 points.
What emerges is an intriguing experiment of chance involving player's reflexes and reading speed/comprehension.

I am currently making a game a week in a prototype course at the NYU Game Center. I decided I wanted to publish each of these projects weekly to get feedback and see what people think.
These are complete works in the sense I don't have expectations to work on them further (unless you all love one for whatever reason).
