Nice visuals and effects! I can see this being a great shooter if you continue to work on it.
Some things to consider including if you return to this project:
Some visual effect to fill that boring black background.
Have some indication of which way the player is facing.
Autofire since releasing the fire key has no purpose.
Make the shots that connect with a target have some visual/audible feedback letting your know that it hit.
Ramp up the difficulty. Perhaps one shot death?
The music is great and I like the omni-directional firing. The spawn/attack patterns are awesome.
Arcade Shooter
This was a game that I worked on for about 2 weeks, before I decided to stop working on it
If I see a couple of people supporting the game, and wanting updates, I will start working on it again
