Alright so i play a lot of horror games and I have to say.. I was so lost in this. I walked around for about 10 minutes before closing the game. Is there an objective or a location I'm supposed to get to? I was really confused. The atmosphere was pretty well done though. =)
ASTRAY is a first person survival horror game. This is my first attempt at making a game. The game is still in development and I am making this game alone so its taking quite a while. I have uploaded a couple of ingame screenshots and a little demo that I put together so you can get a feel of the game.
Oculus Rift Dev kit 2 is supported, but not optimized and might bug out.
The demo size is quite big, 1gb. Sorry about that.
Try it out if you want to. Feedback of any kind, whether its good or bad is highly appreciated.
Since there arent really any intro to the game yet, ill explain the plot as I have imagined.
You are taking your dog Trigger for a hike in the forest. As the sun settles down and the night awakes something catches Triggers attention and he runs off. You start running after him, trying to call him back. This is where your adventure starts.
"ASTRAY" is a working title. The ASTRAY name is subject to change.
NOTE: I see that some people are just gettings lost in the forest and simply give up. The forest part is getting redone because its somewhat messy right now.
So here is the way to get going:
When you start a new game, simply follow the path. Cross the river(walk over the log)
The second time you hear Trigger barking, take a right(off the path). There you will find the entrance :)
