The visual style for this game is great. And the block effects are really creative. In hindsight, I'm amazed I've never seen the slippery ice effect as a hazard before. I love the grumpy block. :D

It's fun! I got to 25 points at best after about 30 minutes of practice. Did the items get cut at the last minute?

This game is a tribute to the great Arkanoid, even though that game was based on Atari's Breakout, it expanded the gameplay so much that pushed us to become gamers.
The purpose of Mutant Blocks is to recreate the joy we used to have with the GameBoy, by following and respecting the GB limits, and besides the limited color palette, pixel snap and pixel perfect is something very few dev's respect nowadays. Being that said, we bring you this piece of arcade made from the bottom of our oldschool heart.
