Introdocing "Blocks", a portable tetris clone for Linux, Windows and possibly more. Released under the GPL so new programmers can hopefully learn something useful from the game's design.
This is not my most interesting, unique, nor innovative project, but it does get the job done. I started this project in hopes of getting aquainted with the SDL library, something that would allow me to convert some of my projects over from Windows-only GDI, .NET, GDI+, or Direct X. This way more people can play them, and so I can actually release my creative gems with clean code and a uniform API.
This is NOT the final version. There are a few things I need to change to improve the gameplay. Despite this, it runs stably and has all of the functionality that the final version will have. I'll be sure to make sure people know when it's the "Final" version.
