it works less when i try to close it, IT STOPS RESPONDING WHILE I'M TRYING TO CLOSE IT
This is pretty cool though when I try to join the discord it says that the invite is invalid
My pc is somewhat bad, so I'm pretty happy to see this mod/fan game of Faz-Amin being made for lower end/older pc's! And i also think this mod/fan game will have a LOT of potential to it! Cant wait to see what this brings! :> <3
I made an account just to say this on this game . But I love the direction the game is going in and I love the small details like the option to change the branding from Faz-Anim to Rock-afire. Another thing I just love about this game is just the menu by itself. (DO NOT SPAM CLICK THE CHARACTERS ON THE MENU) But one thing I'm asking is for when you do fix the physics bonus is make it optimized for lower end pcs. But anyways I love this game so far!
Bring your shows to life!
Blubuild is an unofficial continuation of The64thGamer's Faz-Anim that lets you create your own animated FNaF shows!
Compared to Faz-Anim, Blubuild rewrites a lot of systems to make the game run way faster on older machines. As well as adding in an advanced timeline-based editor and providing tools for content creators, it makes working with Faz-Anim far more convenient.
Note: This project is currently being rewritten from scratch (moving away from Faz-Anim), updates are going to be slow! Check the progress on the Discord server
Promised features:
Safer, more efficient code
On the CPU, Faz-Anim uses hundreds of if-else chains and reuses the same Unity components for tons of different purposes (ex: using the main menu component for tons of other scenes), which completely removes the benefit of Unity having an ECS system to begin with. I am working on this as of writing this by rewriting a lot of the code to be more efficient.
On the GPU, Faz-Anim uses hard-coded HDRP profiles and the Low/Medium profiles are set in stone to be very unoptimized. I have brought down the graphics for both of those profiles and added an "Ultra" graphics setting for people who's PC can handle it.
There are no nullability checks and there is no user-friendly error handling.
A rewrite from scratch is eventually planned in order to remove the dependency on the old janky Faz-Anim code and assets, but I am too busy for now to write an entire animation engine from scratch so this is a mod of The64thGamer's Faz-Anim for now
Revamped Bitcrusher editor!
Faz-Anim's editor was shipped broken and unfinished, this project works on fixing that and bringing it up to the quality of the editor in Remina's SPTE
A rendering engine allowing you to render out your shows as mp4 and webm files on the highest graphical setting, regardless of your system specs.
Revamped live editor (showroom editor)
Slight handy tweaks to the UI
Extra shortcuts
Permanent overlay that shows the keys and movements for the animatronic you're currently animating, in case you forget which keys to press
Camera position saving/loading, allowing you to teleport to a set of number coordinates (this lets people share their camera angles and it lets you record in the same camera angle for every show you upload)
Zshow export format
Zshow is my own custom compressed format for storing shows, it can make the file size of an RR Engine show file up to 50% smaller!
Secretly an easily editable 7z file storing the signal data as MIDI events, accepting several file formats for the video and audio data, and being very pleasant to work with.
Rule based remapping support, allowing Faz-Anim to read shows made with Rock-afire Replay by mapping keys such as "Beach Bear - Jaw" into "Freddy - Jaw" by using RegEx
Only used in my projects so far, but I will try getting support for it into other mods
Better flows, weight, and wobble
Faz-Anim animatronics feel very stiff, and so do most RR Engine animatronics. I plan on attempting to fix this by messing with the flows as well as adding an option you can toggle to apply dynamic bones onto every single single bone of the character. While this would tank performance, you can always use the renderer to export shows out if you have a low-end machine.
