Its a good start but you made it a little too difficult too soon. Checkpoints as you progress in the game would help too.

I gave it a play. I really like the design and attention to detail so far, really well done. I think some of the hit boxes need some work but the health bar does a lot to negate the roughness of those so it could be left as is if you wanted. Over all very well done, and keep up the great work!
