Nice job completing your first game! The planet animation is a nice touch, and I really like how you can move around on the title screen and get a feel for the controls. It's cool that you adjusted the pitch of the enemy hit sound so each one is a bit different.
One small recommendation I'd make is to prevent enemies from spawning right next to you. I really like the enemy spawning animation where they start small and grow into their full size. I like how different the enemies are, too, with some trying to crash into you and others with ranged attacks. It's great that they have different amounts of health and give various point bonuses depending on difficulty.
