The original Basic Super Mario Engine was released in 2018, containing tons of bugs and missing features. And four years later, it rises from the ashes like a phoenix. Introducing BSME+.

Built with Game Maker 8.2, BSME+ adds new content and fixes the plethora of bugs that were in the original build.

What was originally a bugfix edition specifically made for a new fangame, became an overhaul for the original BSME project.

here's the 3 days worth of progress i've made on BSME+

new powerup, bug fixes, graphical overhauls, and new features.

cant believe the original BSME didn't have a run button...

here's a little pic of the revamped test level.

(that jar enemy is for a fangame using this engine, it's just a reskinned koopa troopa.)
