Button of Rubies: The Heist

A high-stakes, terminal-based game written in Ruby and part of the Raviolo The Magician-verse. You play as a thief attempting to steal Team Toadette's vast fortune by hitting a single button during a crucial 1-second window that opens after a long wait. To succeed, you must first risk your own cash to reduce the waiting time.

🎮 How to Play

1. The Gamble (Risk Management): You start with cash. Bet an amount to reduce the time remaining until the safe opens. Winning the gamble reduces the time, but losing costs you money while the time remains unchanged.

2. The Wait (Tension): When you enter 0 to quit gambling, the game enters the waiting phase. The terminal will pause for the calculated, reduced time.

3. The Button (Precision): As soon as the "WINDOW OPEN" message appears, you must press the Enter key within 1 second to win the game. Miss the window, and it's an instant Game Over.
