SYNOPSIS
The player assumes the role of one of several officers in the highway patrol division of Puerto Rico Police Department where it is assigned to patrol the Expressways and other road networks. The player usually takes the role of either Chris Devins or Antonina Hernández, but there is one early mission (Beginner's Guide) where the player takes the place of a contender. The officers are in charge with stopping and questioning suspects about various criminal activities. The game presents the player with a series of fictional "cases" that need to be solved to progress.
The cases themselves, however, spans the history of highway patrol, starting from the 1970s and moving through the decades to the present day, covering various eras of Puerto Rico Police Department and various municipal police forces.
