We've already seen Minecraft 2D several times in the past, I suggest trying at an original game instead, make your own creatures, own style, maybe create a story!
And if you do keep the name Minecraft then Mojang/Microsoft can take your game down whenever they want, and people won't play it as much since it's labeled as a Minecraft Fan-Game and not an original project.
