What do you think?

This is the kind of story quality I'd expect from AAA titles. Also very uppfriskande att kunna spela på svenska...

Definitely looking forward to this becoming a playable game!

i like the game think it fun

Commissar's Contrapasso is a story about an arrogant soviet commissar
who follows the official doctrines of the party with little regard for the simple soldiers beneath him, until he finds himself caught alone behind enemy lines that is.

What follows is a darkly humorous adventure with many strange turns. Whether or not the commissar will make it out alive depends on you, the player.

Commissar's Contrapasso is a point and click game made with Adventure Game Studio. Some of the characters from the previous Sniper and spotter games will make an appearance, but all the games, including this one, is meant to be standalone so that even a new player will be able to enjoy the game.

This game can be played in both English and Swedish, the language can be changed in the setup menu before starting the game.

For the curious, the title refers to the term Contrapasso from Dante's Inferno, which means "suffer the opposite", and is used to describe punishments reflecting the sins of the one getting punished, and will hopefully reflect the themes of this story.

A new animation added to the game

I spent some time animating this, for those occasions where the protagonist has to look closely at something down on the ground.

A preview of a puzzle in the game

Here’s a piece of the puzzle I’m working on, as you can see, there are a few parts missing for the player to find. It’s still a bit of a work in progress, and I plan on adding some more interactions.

A new screenshot

Here’s an example of one of the things to interact with in the game, in this case a written note on the wall. As of lately I’ve been working on adding more interactions to the game environment.

A stealth/puzzle section

This part of the game is a bit of a work in progress, but my intention is to build a set-piece based around stealth and observing the area. Be warned, a careless player will risk getting shot!

Another screenshot

I thought I’d share a new screenshot, this time of one of the perils that will face the player, namely, a German sniper who is quite apt in his work, as evidenced by the unfortunate soldier at the bottom of the image.

Some new characters for the game
