Really cool game! I love the use of the upgrade shop to break up the pace of the game and to have some progression over time. It's fairly well balanced too. Though you can get the bullets to ridiculous sizes, the enemy waves scale well enough to still eventually overwhelm you. The graphics and music are nice too. I like the consistent red and purple colour scheme.
I liked choosing upgrades every few waves! I think some of the graphics looked a bit blurry against the background - perhaps just AA settings? and some exploding anims could be cool. otherwise solid :D
Sweet entry! I love that you made a intro cutscene. Interesting choice to make the player control the ship at the top of the screen, but it makes a lot of since considering you're the ufo and you're abducting the cows!
Neat idea. It's like Space Invaders but playing as the invaders. The shop after each wave was nice, it gave a nice break between each combat wave and allowed you to upgrade in the way you wanted at the same time. Nice job!
Sound effects are kinda loud, but nice reverse shoot'em

The game features an infinite wave system, with a shop between each wave to increase their chance of survivability. In the shop, you will find multiple upgrades and ammo for your special!
If you hit an enemy with your special, you will abduct him, making yourself super powerful, destroying everything you touch, and obtaining the double amount of points and money!
Everything can be enjoyed solo, or in 2 player mode, with both players on the keyboard. Each player has its own money, score, and upgrades! #shooter #arcade #retro #survival #ufo #gamejam
