Crash Bandicoot: Crashes Revenge

I can give this game props for being one of the few game that don't use the Nost Games Crash assets. The controls are really tight and work well. Sadly though, this game is really bad. The level design is really poor and honestly looks really lazy. The levels themselves have no aesthetic detail to them. U just add terrain and make some mountains for walls. It would be better if you added some forest like scenery like rocks, trees, plants, etc. Like look at N.Sanity beach in the first Crash game, you start on a beach and explore through the jungle. Notice the forest details Naughty Dog added. These levels look bleak and lifeless.

Also the levels themselves are very poorly designed. All the levels are just straight lines with crates. And there is no threat to you, no enemies, no hazards, just platforming with bottomless pits and a whole bunch of nitros. You should add more variety. Add enemies like the piranha plant or the crab. And also add more hazards like the rolling stones or something to make use of the crawl.

I also found the collision detection to be all over the place. Sometimes I'll jump on a box only to fall through it which gets really irritating. Along that the camera is just downright awful. It seems to follow Crash yes, but it doesn't aim towards him, so when I head up a hill, Crash will be high while the camera is low making it hard to see what's coming.

There are also some other issues too but these are the major ones. I think you should make another Crash fan game but try to add more variety and make it playable. You can't just make simple assets and just dump them all over the levels because that's just lazy. I definately see potential of a good Crash fan game made by you, but A LOT more work needs to be done.
