Creepy house

Hey, I'm sorry but the game seems to be very buggy and unplayable. First my character seems to be walking, I thought I was in a wheelchair? But the flashlight sometimes does not appear in the first room so if your not familiar with the house layout and light switches you cant progress in pitch black, sometimes the flashlight is not even generated anywhere in the house. There is no control guide so I had to guess what to do (the help button does not work) and I cant seem to use items in inventory despite trying everything I could.

The flashlight battery never drains fully which is odd. I thought the batteries were for that so I dragging batteries onto flashlight or any other way does not charge it. Also when dragging one item in inventory to another slot it makes another item (I had 5 drinking glasses and could duplicate my 1 battery to make 5). also dragging items onto other items made them disappear (screwdriver disappears when a battery is dragged onto it and same with batteries).

Dropping items is not a good thing, they all fall through the ground including the screwdriver and any battery. When I was able to figure out what to do and place all batteries in the right places, I was able to fill the glass with water but couldn't drink it. I used it and it disappeared but nothing happens.

I am not sure what else to do if I am missing something but I couldn't complete the game despite multiple attempts.
