Really sorry to hear about what's happening to you. I hope your life will have a turn for the better in the near future. Great game. :)
geez sorry to hear about your happenings as of late :(, it'll get better because the worst has hit, so it's coming Aythadis! keep going man, don't give up or give in
Hi, yes I can give it another go.
I don't know about the coding or engine you use, but is it a gameobject that can activate another lantern on the player already hidden? There are many ways to fix it but I understand your frustration...it can often be small things like that, that can be so very annoying. But of course I shall give it another go, let me know when its sorted or a good work around.
This game is amazing. keep up the good work. :D
Can't wait to make a Gameplay of this! I'll post the link when I'm done so you can see it!
Note from the Dev
It's been 4 years since this project was brought onto GameJolt, and obviously if you could not tell, the project has been abandoned and long dead, and I feel I need to say why, as I did just leave people in the dark.
Since the last update I gave, which stated that I was forced to move, caused me to stop working on it. Well I just wanted to say everything worked out fine, I don't have any problems like that, and have been doing well enough. Mostly just working, just not game related as much as I would have loved to have been working on games. Sadly this was not the main reason why the game was canceled.
From moving a few times, I've also lost most of the games files (probably just misplaced them in one of the many unnamed folders,) and I have tried to remake the game from scratch and try to fix some of the major loading problems, though there was some major work, like having a more clear story, and an intro video, but that just wasn't enough sadly.
The main reason why the project is dead, is simply the spark and creativity was gone. For what I wanted to do with this project, and what I was actually capable of doing with the engine was very limited. There was lots of stuff that I wanted to do with this project, but with how limited the custom engine was, and how work on the engine was basically stopped for other projects, my spark on working on Darkest Night was growing weaker, until it was just ultimately scrapped. As much as I would like to try and finish Darkest Night, I just can't, and decided to just be done with it and move on.
Will I be deleting the game? No! The version of Darkest Night that is on GameJolt shall remain here till the end of time. I feel there is no reason to delete it, as much as I hate the state of it, it can still be playable, and some people may still want to play it.
Thank you all for the support for the project, and thank you to anyone that played it! Hopefully I can see you in other project that I may do in the future!

Darkest Night is the #1 best horror map available on the Terror Engine. So as we were working on updated TE to 2.0, I decided that I should update and finish Darkest Night. So with all the new fancy features and improvements that TE 2.0 has, we decided that we would use Darkest Night as a Standalone demo to get more people interested in Terror Engine and show off what you can do with it.

Story:
You went out hiking in the woods, which is something you do on a weekly basis... Only this time you took a path you never took, and got lost... You wondered around for hours, and hours... It is getting dark and you start to panic, running left and right through the trees in hopes of finding a familiar path or another hiker. You trip over a fallen tree, stumble, and step on a branch that was covering up a hole. The branch snaps and you fall into the deep hole, hitting the ground with a hard thud. You are knocked out...
You awake later... It's dark outside, and the hole is impossible to climb back out.
Screaming for help, no one can hear you... You see a light down the tunnel. Looks like an old underground building, maybe you can find an exit through there...
And thus, your path into the Darkest Night starts...
