This fangame is amazing. Loved the attacks, how rewarding grazing is and the overall good balance of the game (aside from the popups attack you can skip). Really good. Here is my no hit of it https://youtu.be/AksZlCTRuR0?si=U96XRBlkUClkKyLX
After playing this game I have to save its AMAZING, good graphics, nice attacks and even a different story then most spam ton-like games, the difficulty was also balanced as I could first try pacifist and then genocide with some stuff like the ads.
HOLY [CUNGADERO] I WAS JUMPSCARED BY A CREATE YOUR FRISK [POCKET-MONSTER] FIGHT BY [CLICK HERE FOR] ON ACCIDENT
Couple of things I have to say:
The callback to Muffet's section is a good idea, though I wish it wasn't too on the nose. One thing is to mimic and the other is to make a reference or a parallel. And Spamton? I can understand Petaly's deal, where it's a bastardization of everything that Flowey represents, but what is this about? It's just Spamton all over again. It's not a spin on him, it's just straight up Spamton. And while Flowey is from another game, Spamton is in the same game, which make it feel kinda cheap.
What's even going on with this guy? The prelude and some attacks are directly taken from Muffet; same with Spamton, but for the design, speech quirks and attacks. Then there's the Dreemurr sleeves. And lastly, his lore is a mix of Spamton (maybe a tinge of Jevil?) and an Addison.. while he is Mike. What is this salad? Though, part of his character that I did like were his lines about the blindfold.
I liked the intro, however I don't quite get what the colors were based off of (specifically blue, but I have my own guess).
In fact, there's a lot of ideas that I liked, which mainly have to do with attacks. For example, the sequence of our SOUL turning purple was very neat! Honestly, I liked a lot of the attacks that didn't have to do with Muffet or Spamton. The one where hands pull the strings out of the box, the one with a couple of pens writing words and him ripping the box in half, the one where he smashes himself into the box, the one where there's a little guy smashing TVs with a bat, which he throws as his last move.
The whole screen turning instead of the SOUL has taken me by surprise, but in a good way. I was also taken aback by him pulling Majick out just like that. That Malware sure seems to have some tricks up his sleeve and I wish that was the theme you'd explore. You even had the cupcake spider in the form of a toy. The birds that look out of place here would go very well with the theme of a magician (the top hat type)/theater/puppeteer/etc. This had a lot of potential.
Malware's design is weird. Jevil is a jester, Spamton is a long-nosed pupped, just like Pinocchio. This two-armed thing? No idea. Though, him becoming one with the web helps his case a bit. That transformation and the concept in general looks cool.
Ok so I managed to no hit the fight on my family's PC (since it runs a lot better) and after a couple hours). I have some suggestions. Listing from most important to least important
1) Nerf the pop up attack. It's by far the hardest attack to no hit because the RNG can be really annoying. Lower the spawn rate somewhat and it should be fine.
2) Make the spiders stop spawning earlier during the horizontal to vertical line transition in final. You can't move during the transition but a spider can still spawn there and force you to get hit. Happened to me once.
3) Some attacks have a lot of cheese to them. The baseball attack you can't get hit in the bottom right corner. The spider section of final you can just hold right, and the bird section you can just hold up until the line stops.
This is a great fangame and I'm happy to see something using purple soul. It only has three issues which isn't bad at all.
Deep, deep down under the Cyber City, lays The Dark Web. It is a lonesome place, occupied only by Poppups, Bugs, Spiders, and someone... familiar?
Follow Kris and Spamton after they find themselves lost in The Dark Web, face off against a new(?) foe, and participate in a clearly not well thought out business opporunity, in this short fanmade Deltarune fight!
This is a Create Your Frisk mod and you must have or install the necessary software to play the game. ALSO it only works on CYF 0.6.5, so make sure you're not using anything higher or lower.
You can dowload Create Your Frisk Here on Windows.
Download Here if you're using Mac.
Download Here if you're using Linux.
Estimated play time is roughly 30 minutes, and the controls are about the same as they are in Deltarune:
Arrows/WASD - Movement
Z/Enter - Confirm, Continue
X/Shift - Cancel, Skip
F4/Alt+Enter - Toggle Fullscreen
Escape - Exit Game (Esc+Q exits faster)
F1 - ?
You can listen to the music Here, on our Youtube channel.
Thanks to superskele333 and Nicholas J. again for playtesting.
Don't mind the visual bugs in the overworld, it's not easy making one from scratch.
If the download button isn't working, you can click Here to download the game instead.
