The monsters?
They’re still here—but they’ve changed.
They remember what you did. Every path you took. Every one you left in dust. And they’re not so friendly this time.

The Underground has adapted.
It’s overgrown. Overrun. Unforgiving.
And you? You’re just a trespasser in a world that’s tired of being toyed with.

The echo flowers are immune for no reason other than lore purposes basically. "the amount of resets broke the environment, the echo flowers most affected - they remember everything now, relay everything, say everything" This is what we based the game on "What if echo flowers were immune to resets?".
