DoomBM is a music soundtrack mod For Doom 1 ANd 2, mixing almost all songs in Both games as Black metal using Tracking software to do so.
It is a long term project of mine to make More atmospheric sounding music in a metal way for Doom, than lets say, Brutal Doom's Metal Soundtrack or IDKFA.
Almost all songs minus a few from Doom 2 were remixed... The results vary, but only a few came out bad... They are still included...
Making this involved taking the original mus files, exporting them to midi files and loading them into openMT and changing the guitars, some keyboards and other instruments into tremelo picked lead guitars that were then reverberated like crazy in a black metal way. No distortion was used in the guitar at all, as this is supposed to be Blackened...
This was done in 2019 initially and only recently did I find the mp3's for these, after assuming I lost them forever.
Installation instructions.
Unzip the exe file to your doom 1 or 2 folder and install zdoom or gzdoom and type zdoom -file doombm.wad or gzdoom -file doombm.wad. This mod should work with any zdoom compatible port...

One factor in the Authenticity of Metal Remixes that are in DoomBM, is the fact that they have almost NO fake instruments like crappy dance keyboards or worse (DUBSTEP). Mixing that into Metal is just stupid. DoomBM is PURE for not doing that. #doom
What's crazy about DoomBM is it's atmosphere... The Atmosphere it produces is by Sheer Reverberation of Keyboards AND guitars. That sound is eerie as hell...DoomBM is the ONLY metal soundtrack like this. #metal #blackmetal #doom
I don't think I've ever seen a pure Black Metal Soundtrack remix of Doom Music anywhere... I've seen Death Metal, Industrial Metal (yuck), groove metal, metalcore/melodeth and some thrash... DoomBM is the ONLY metal soundtrack mod to do this. #doom
