Dragonspire is a retro style open-world platformer where you’ll set forth to slay the most legendary beast of all, the great fire breathing dragon. Retelling the original tale, you play as the lost prince Arcadius, as you set forth to reclaim the ravaged kingdom of Tel’nias.

Capturing the spirit of classic fantasy in both art and gameplay, you will experience the early days of console gaming, refined. Reflecting 3rd generation video games, you will travel across the expansive overworld map, where you can dive into one of the many levels as a side-scrolling action platformer.

Dragonspire features a large armory of weapons, armors, and shields, that not only aid you on your quest, but can also be visually seen on the prince. Artifacts such as the Periapt of Warding or the Boots of Speed are hidden throughout the land found deep within ancient ruins or gifted from townsfolk. Armed with a sword and shield you will combat enemies small and great, mundane to legendary.

What makes Dragonspire unique is it’s use of a condition bar which displays your characters physical status. Built upon a duel stance system, you must brandish your weapon in combat, then sheath again to leap over large gaps or climb ladders. Elements such as fall damage, fatigue, and breath play a role in your quest.

Taking place within the fabled Kingdom of Tel’nias, you’ll discover ruins, towns, castles, dangerous caverns, and tall mountains. You may even set sail upon the open sea...
