Oooh, this game has my brain all confused! Everything and everyone is so cute and adorable, but there's something making me feel very uneasy about the whole thing.
In essence it's cute enough! Play as a girl called Sissy who gets lost in the forest on the way home (I mean, who hasn't done that at some point in their life, am I right?) and gets redirected by some mysterious kids gathered around a campfire. One whole night(?!) of walking later, we come across Food Town.
The residents all seem nice enough, if not a little... odd. There's animals that don't move and hints at things being a little bit sinister, but I have to come clean and say that I haven't actually finished the game yet! I am loving it though, the variety of mini-games that you encounter when you come across each new character is a great way of keeping the story moving along and getting us to interact along with it.
I'm really looking forward to getting to the end (I think), and I encourage anyone with a sense of morbid curiosity to check it out too! Keep up the awesome work Umino! =)
The game crashes as soon as I open it, a pop up says I need certain files to run the game.
okay so here we go... what is my opinion of this game that is supposed to pull you into this world of freed "innocent people" in a forest that brings illusion and doubts to a mutual conclusion but as us the Main Character sissy delves in to meet them she falls way to fast into thinking like "he did" (whoever the guy is...) when she meets the first person of deranged lunatics/our cast Dumpling is his name our story begins we meet the rest of the crew Bread&Butter(the guy who would do anything for the appalled blonde girl who was trapped in a room and escaped) Candy(mistook residents as her personal treats and ate them mixed with candy that Cinnamon provides after shredding them up.) Tomato(a masochist that shoots himself to make "tomato sauce") Strawberry And Grape (two girls who had plastic surgery and a splicing of seeds and vines inside them.) Milk (a scientist who blended in as one of them but is still human and loves the place even if the residents are a little messed up in the head but he accepts them.) Cinnamon(a guy who doesn't go by any gender but is fine with whatever you call him is free but in love with dumpling.) and last but not least Chili (a guardian like resident who would kill/eat anyone who comes to her area and if that person is cursed by the area with "Uncontrollable hunger" and pretends to be a fruit they will die before they even realize.) well my experience was perfect though i have noticed the bugs on if you kill any of the worms that chase you you would crash the game also on when dumpling chases you even if you press the jump button on the ledge you will sometimes still fall off the edge but that one was just nitpicky do i love the endings... well yes and no i love the twist of it all even though i called it a few minutes in and i was gonna give them all mouths on the npc faces (not the portraits the art is cute) but it was fine that i couldn't i am mainly upset that someone who made a vs the fun gang thumbnail for merg as they stole my "soul in the sword" idea that i already made way before his upload... anywho back to the main thing at hand the ending where she gets killed by chili is lovely cause yea if you just start losing yourself you will be killed in a unsafe environment regardless the other ending when we wanted to make them suffer after all that we went through i feel like that should have been more fleshed out where we could have killed them and made them suffer as they would've relived getting everything they loved taken away from them then finish chili but most of all the after credits scene is great having to talk to them all one last time before you go but when you are done the second ending the dream nightmare thing is astonishing but i really wanted to know what would've happened if she got on the train after all of that (in the bad route) now here is the rating i am gonna give it and that is a 3.5 out of 5 would love to play anything else you have some time @UminoAoi thank you for making this game and it's experience!

I love your game. I felt kinda betrayed with the second play through, but i thoroughly enjoyed the sinister twist.
I love it but I'm also SHOOK
