Dayshift at the Factory is a fangame based on the Dayshift at Freddy's trilogy with a focus on the phone guys. You play as recently made phone guy- who just got his location (and the ENTIRE Mall of America) burnt to the ground. After receiving an angry call from the manager of the Afton Robotics Factory, you plead to not get scrapped- or whatever it was that happened to phone guys that retired. The manager hears you out, giving you one single option: Go work at the Afton Robotics Factory, where they make phone guys just like you, and hopefully, not burn anything else to the ground.
This game will include: the classic dayshift gameplay we all know and love, with a small twist! Instead of waiting for the clock to run out, you'll instead be required to complete all of your tasks for the day (or a substitute for them, if you want to be rebellious) to be let off the hook! Two primary routes (good and bad) with many endings to achieve, minigame segments, and a slew of 7+ original characters (and Rebecca, from the hit game DSaF 3!) to interact with!
This is a fan project and is not related to directdogman in any way!
A demo version including the introductory section, as well as the first day of gameplay, is hoped to release by the end of the summer of 2026!
