What do you think?

just played through the game in its current state and i have to say that it's not only a joy to play but also has a lot of potential for further development!) the game plays well, doesn't have any nasty bugs or glitches, has well-done grammar without any mistakes and makes grinding enjoyable through a neat battle system that includes juggling around buffs for your party!) all in all, great job, Bubbabear!)

now, i'll go over the positives of the game while also mentioning all of the neat little details that made the dungeon crawling (title drop!) all the more worthwhile. firstly, the game is a dungeon crawler (as you would've guessed) and it doesn't try being anything more, which i really appreciate - it is what it is and if it does something, then it does it well!) the grinding doesn't feel repetitive because of the different enemy formations starting from the second level, which is great for a dungeon crawler/grinder!) various chests scattered around the levels encourage exploration and each type of chests holds something specific to its type, which is a neat little detail) next, Susie is pretty cool as a protagonist - i don't see people using her character's sprite all that much, and especially for the main hero, so, it's a nice change of pace from all of the generic RPG protagonists (that are probably named Eric, too, jajaja!) the additional party member in face of Stan is a great reward for people that like to explore - having a helping hand in the dungeon never hurt, either!) also, the fact that Stan's main method of inflicting damage is just slapping the enemies with his glove is so hilarious to me - good job making me laugh, BubbaGames!) oh, and also, i'm so glad that there is a pit-stop location before the third and the fourth levels - it's a nice way to catch your breath as a player and spend all of your hard-earned money for some great upgrades and healing items!) the labyrinthian levels get progressively more and more complex and bigger, which is a great way to ramp up the game's difficulty!) and, finally, the game is also fairly difficult - not because of unfair limitations, mind you, but enough to make every challenge feel tough, fun and satisfying to overcome!)

now for the two problems that i have with the game - firstly, i've noticed that you can move during the cutscene when Stan turns around after waking up - this doesn't lead to any game-breaking bugs, fortunately, but still would've been nice if Susie could stand still while the poor guy checks his surroundings, and secondly, i wish that you could change the battle music while in the pit-stop-shop location between the third and the fourth level - those are only minor problems that don't make the whole experience feel bad but it still would be very nice if they got fixed!)

all in all, Dungeon Crawlers has been a great experience - a challenging grind-game that has you explore neatly done labyrinthian underground mazes while also fighting vermin and phantasmal beings, and all of it done very well, with nice quality-of-life things like the ability to change the battle music and the pit-stop location!) Bubbabear, as i've already said, you did a great job with this game, and i wish you best of luck, nerves of steel and lots of inspiration in all of your future endeavors, be it game development or something else entirely!) take care!

You fight through a dungeon #rpg

Note: as the title implies the game is simply a work in progress, I'm just throwing things against the wall and seeing what sticks, maybe nothing of what you see is final, maybe it all becomes final, only time will tell.
