Is the story going to be like canon Dusttale?
No, it'll be different - however it will contain a few references.
What inspired this game and its concepts to be made?
It's inspired by a lot of Dusttale fangames, such as Dusttale: Non Est Deus and the Dusttale Novel, however the real inspiration here is the famous LV-20 Frisk theory, which you may know if you've been active in the Undertale community.
