I love the art style and animation quality. The controls need some work. Just moving around felt very awkward. I think Diablo-style mouse movement would suit the perspective better, but maybe that's my fault for not using a gamepad.
The seeking mechanic works pretty well and the audio cues make it satisfying, but I got dumped back to the main menu when leaving town with only 5/50 gems. I'm not sure if that's normal.
