Does beating a level with 'n' deaths make sense at all?
Because any collision with dangerous object makes you start the level from very beginning.
Update: Added a mute/unmute button, just press 'M' to toggle the music!
Quite fun, solid platforming but the controls are a little slippery for my tastes.
Music really keeps you going but it started to give me a headache after a while. Could use some more variety in songs.
I think the game would be more true to it's name if all the levels were simply played in sequence, perhaps with savepoints every 10 stages.
Very frustrating indeed. I like these types of games, short and fun. I managed to beat Level 1 with 10 deaths... But then realized that was actually just level 1, and still 4 left(I thought the stages in Level 1 were the levels!) =\
But anyways, this is a well-polished game with some nice graphics and a good set of level design. :)
You will not survive. Everclimb is a continual uphill struggle in which you must race against an everscrolling roll of film. The game is intended to be a frustration platformer, you will die a lot.
Developer's Challenge:
We here at Magnesium Ninja love a challenge, and so we've decided to post up our best scores for you lovely individuals to beat. If you manage to do so (Hell, if you can beat level 5 period) we will develop an entirely new stage for your addicted little fingers. Good luck!
Level 1: 0 deaths
Level 2: 2 deaths
Level 3: 10 deaths
Level 4: 3 deaths
Level 5: 31 deaths (Very, very difficult level)
