I really enjoyed this game! The witch sprite and other animations - not to mention just the art in general - were ultra cute but also very polished. Loved the spinning dash animation! Background art assets were not redundant and were all spaced out enough that repeated graphics didn't seem obvious. Game play and controls for things like jumping across and dashing took a little getting used to but still fine! Good, solid choices in music and sound effects. Not intrusive or annoying. Really great work and would totally play this game further if it was expanded!
Evergreen is a short exploration platformer game where you play as a young witch with an affinity for flowers who wakes up in an unknown yet faintly familiar forest with only mysterious messages from a stranger to go by.
Think fast and manoeuvre carefully through the tranquil yet dangerous landscape you’ve awoken in to begin to uncover the truth. Piece by piece, regain fragments of memory while journeying to discover more about yourself and this unknown entity.
This is a finished game but the story itself is more of a prologue.
