Fanatic XS Work-in-Progress - DEMO

Update 3/15/17 - I do realize the download is a bit large and a patch is being set up for a 0.3 demo to reduce the size somewhat so it is more accessible. Also, did anyone find the spots at the spring and the lake farm yet? Even though this is a demo there are still secrets :3

=Story=
A young adventurer sets out on her very own journey to become like the heroes of old - slaying monsters, saving people, upholding peace and justice. While on her way a mysterious entity - calling itself the Narrator, begins tormenting her very existence. And things only escalate when cruel creatures invade Coal Island.
While meeting other odd heroes along the way, the young adventurer works to stop a vicious and bleak force known as Gtæri which corrupts all it touches into hopeless wretches and save the world of Scrith from destruction. After finding out what the Narrator wants, of course.

=Description=
This is a story-rich exploratory adventure game with motifs in western and gothic mythology. It includes some meta-narrative elements as well. Most importantly, exploration is the meat of the game to the potatoes of the adventure part. If in doubt, the environment is the key.
There is turn-based combat, random encounters with a variety of monsters, bosses and mini-bosses which plague NPC towns/forests/towers/castles/etc, side quests to obtain useful items, and strong character arcs as the story progresses. There are game overs, save and load functions, and a credits roll. The difficulty curve goes along as you level up, with no choices to change the difficulty.

Many elements are not yet available in the demo version, but will be in the full version of Fanatic XS. This list includes, but not limited to: More Bosses and Mini-Bosses, TONS MORE LORE, Quest/Completion Items, Revamped Save System Script/New Game+, and a few housekeeping things.
