Description
Fangame World (also known as United Universes) was a FNaF World-styled fangame that featured characters from several popular fangames from the time period.
It was being developed by Blackout from 2015 to 2016 before being cancelled and replaced by possibly The Insane Misadventures of Freddy n' Co., a FNaF World-styled game starring adventure counterparts to the Insanity characters.
It began development since the game was first announced on the Dormitabis GameJolt page on December 11, 2015.[1]
On December 14, Blackout would reveal characters from the Five Nights at Candy's series, including Blank and Rat. However, Emil Macko requested Blackout remove his characters. This was later replaced by The Return to Freddy's characters on December 27, after Tyler Ahlström granted permission to use them.
On January 7, 2016, Blackout shared a teaser image and discussed the enemies, explaining that he chose them from his own fangames, such as Insanity characters, rather than other black and red 8-bit monsters to fit the story. On January 8, the GameJolt page was renamed to "United Universes" to fit more in the game.
On January 21, the game was cancelled because he had too many games to work on. This was presumably replaced by The Insane Misadventures of Freddy n' Co.
Gameplay
The game was to be split into multiple episodes, each with its own download link on the GameJolt page, and after completing one of these episodes, you would receive a key, and this multi-key system would lead to a different ending. The first episode was set to include simply the TRTF cast, with enemies originating in Blackout's own fangames.
