Is it a good idea to give up on Game development? If you enjoy it, no. I suggest you put together a team of developers and act as the "Lead Director." You might not do much development wise, but there would be no game without you basically.

Is it a good idea to ditch Five Nights at Kirby's? We all have our opinions, but I'm gonna say yes. There are plenty of things you could do to make a great, original, and unique game. Things like "Five Nights at Insert Popular gaming icon here, Are a pass to most players nowadays.

Basically what im saying is don't give up on what makes you happy. But.. You might need a new idea.
