Instructions:
CHAPTER ONE
Jerry Mitchell sat at home, reading the newspaper, he was reading an ad HELP WANTED, Family Pizzeria looking for a security guard to work the nightshift 12-6 AM.
he stared at the ad for about 30 seconds, remembering the horrible things that happened at Leo the Lion’s. But he needed a job desperately, and he had been looking for a job for a long time, so he decided to go for a interview.
Jerry walked into the pizzeria at midnight the pizzeria looked like it had been untouched for years there were spider webs, when he went inside he saw a sign in front of him the sign had dark black writing on it, it said “Go to the office, good luck” Jerry had second thoughts, but decided to stay. Jerry walked into the office, thoughts were racing through his mind. He knew he shouldn’t be here. but he was desperate. He sat down on a swivel chair, noticing the multiple stains on it. He remembered as a kid being afraid of the robots, after what happened in 1987. He remembered the headline on the local newspaper “Fright at Leo’s”. He was snapped out of his daze when a phone started ringing, Jerry quickly answered the phone desperate to lose the feeling of loneliness.
“Hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. First day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Alright, good night.”
“Why would I have to close those doors?” Jerry thought. He turned on his computer, all the animatronics were in there places. Leo had a somewhat evil glare to his eyes.Suddenly Leo started to stare at the camera, joined quickly by Lucy. Jerry jumped out of his chair and he rubbed his eyes. The animatronics were back in their original positions. Jerry sighed with relief.
Checking the cameras brought back Jerry’s old memories. He would come often, and his absolute favorite food was the greasy pizza. he came their almost twice every month, until 1987 of course. He remembered playing the the Lion arcade games. His favorite animatronic was Leo, that was until the incident. But suddenly, he looked back at the camera, Lucy was gone, his heart skipped a beat, he rubbed his eyes, hoping he was just tired, but it was true, Lucy wasn’t there. “Ok, I just need to breathe”, Jerry thought. He checked the camera again.
“Lucy does love to eat” Jerry thought. He checked the kitchen, but there was no camera, so he checked the dining hall And there was Lucy, her mouth hanging open . Jerry scanned the screen, his heart racing. Dogi was standing in the dark in the dining hall. ”Dogi.” Jerry muttered “How is this possible, this must just be my imagination”. Suddenly Jerry’s mind started racing. “Is this what that guard meant? About the doors?” Jerry checked the hallways. There was Pengui in the west hallway, running straight towards the office. Jerry took out his flashlight and shined it at Pengui, the robot hissed, and soon ran away. Suddenly he looked at his clock, six o’ clock. It is safe.
Jerry rushed out into the hall, hoping to get out. He found, that he was locked in. “Is this some kind of prank!?” “I want to get out of here!” Jerry started looking for a key to the lock. Jerry always was curious about the place. He went to the kitchen, to see what was there. It was only plates, plastic forks, glasses, and greasy, stale, frozen, pizza. The animatronics were on the stage, like before. Their lifeless eyes eyes matched their blank expression. The carousel in the corner stood in the position the day it happened. The arcade machines were still the same. Leo’s pinball party stood the same with the out of order sign, like the day it happened. A slice of pizza stained the tile reddish in 1985, and the stain was there.
Suddenly the room went black, he looked to his right, there was Lucy, Jerry ran into the back and hid in the corner, and found an empty Leo the Lion suit. He stood still in the room, in the shadow, Jerry’s eyes slowly focused on the suit, he saw the body, the body of the child. Lucy’s eyes focused on him. He held his breath as Lucy slowly walked closer to him soon Lucy’s beak was an inch away from Jerry, Jerry closed his eyes. “he can smell fear” Jerry thought, he was just about to cry when suddenly, the phone from the office started ringing. Lucy left the room, and Jerry slowly crept out, he hid in the bathroom until about 3 o'clock when Leo came in. The room was dark, Jerry woke up after hearing an ominous laugh. could see the outline of Leo’s cap and soon pulled his legs up. Leo started playing his toreador march theme and suddenly Leo yanked open a stall door, Jerry’s face turned white.
Leo opened another door getting closer to Jerry, then he opened the door next to Jerry. And finally, the door was flung open right in front of Jerry, Leo started snapping at him with his huge mouth and started screeching. Jerry crawled under the stall and ran for his office, he ran past pirate’s

cove, and noticed that Pengui wasn’t there. He ran into the office, and immediately shut the doors. Suddenly he heard a banging on the door, he flickered his flashlight. “It’s Pengui” said Jerry. He looked back at the power switch, I’m almost out of power!” the power at the Lion's uses solar panels to recharge every day. He looked at his alarm clock, “5 AM, I can do this” said Jerry. Suddenly the banging stopped, he flickered the lights, there was noone there. Jerry sighed in relief, he shuffled through the desk drawer. He found a couple of news articles and a cupcake keychain, I’m so hungry that I could eat this keychain, Jerry thought.
Suddenly, the clock chimed, 6 o’ clock. Jerry got out of his seat and ran into the kitchen, he smelled something burning. The oven was on, Jerry turned white, “someone else is here” he said as he looked in the oven noticing that the pizza wasn’t burnt. He took the pizza out of the oven. “Hey, you left your pizza here!” said Jerry, feeling like he was talking to a wall. “I must be going crazy” Jerry thought. He ate the pizza, “wow!” “It’s not as bad as I thought it would be!” Said Jerry. Suddenly Jerry noticed something in the kitchen.
He could see a crack in the wall, like a door, Jerry found a wrench in the supply cabinet and tried to open the door, he used all his strength to open the door, suddenly, the door opened, a blast of air came out, fresh air. He looked inside the room, he found a golden Dogi suit, the suit was in a human position, unlike the Golden Leo suit, which sat lifeless. the suit looked like it was supposed to be worn by employees, and it looked... used. There were tears and stains all over the suit, and something inside it. He looked at the suit, closely examining it. He looked at the fake leather teeth, it gave him the chills, then he looked at the foot, it said “LEO’S ENTERTAINMENT SPRINGLOCK SUIT” then he looked at the Golden Leo suit, the suit looked like there used to be an animatronic in it, not a human. Suddenly springtrap started to jerk his head slowly towards Jerry, as if he was trying to show him his ominous smile, he started making a low horrible beeping noise. Jerry ran back to the office “12 allready!?) said Jerry. “That felt like, I dunno, maybe an hour” said Jerry as he ran towards the office.
“3 more nights, I can do this” said Jerry. He turned on his computer, Pengui was gone, he heard footsteps coming, and soon he closed the door on Pengui before he got in. Then he flashed both the lights and found Dogi on the left side “wow! you guys sure are faster today!” said Jerry as sweat started dripping down his face. He flickered the lights, Pengui hissed and ran back to pirates cove, Jerry checked the cameras, Dogi wasn’t on any of them, he heard a small creaking noise, Jerry opened the camera, and looked around. Jerry breathed in slowly and suddenly Dogi jumped up from under the desk, snapping her mouth at Jerry, Jerry backed up in his chair and noticed a man, watching him in the east hall, then he put his focus on the more important thing, Dogi, Jerry got the chair and threw it at Dogi, but the chair broke. Jerry stepped back and shined his flashlight at Dogi, he got just enough time to run, he ran into the supply closet, and looked through the crack, slowly breathing, about 2 minutes later the Golden Dogi walked by the closet, and soon stared at the crack, Jerry moved his head out of Golden Dogi’s line of sight, but it was too late.
Golden Dogi smashed the door and grabbed Jerry and screamed in his face, Jerry kicked and tried to get out of the animatronics hands but couldn’t then he kicked Golden Dogi’s arm, he heard a crack, and Jerry was dropped, he started running, and hid in the arcade room, springtrap walked by, but then suddenly, Pengui ran into the room and dove at Jerry, and scratched his leg with his hook, Jerry’s arm was bleeding now, Jerry looked at his old LCD wristwatch, he had won it at the prize corner when he was a kid and still wore it, the watch had a green wristband and the watch was shaped like Leo’s head, the watch said 5:45, Jerry limped to his office, dripping blood making a dotted line to the office, Jerry looked over his shoulder noticing Lucy was behind him, Lucy slowly approached, Jerry is trying as hard as he can to run but is slower than Lucy, soon Lucy is inches from him, and Jerry, now incredibly weak, was slowly crawling away, Lucy bent down to look at Jerry in the eyes then started screeching while trying to scratch Jerry. But then, Jerry’s alarm went off and Lucy stood up and went into day mode, blindly staring and singing her part in the Band, but without the other animatronics it sounded, different...
